David E. Kelley and John Stamos team for a new high school basketball series.
The series, which was given a 10-episode order from the forthcoming streaming service is titled Big Shots.
Per Variety, the one-hour series follows a temperamental college basketball coach (Stamos) who gets fired from his job and must take a teaching and coaching job at an elite all-girls private high school. Set to star alongside Stamos is Shiri Appleby who will portray the good-humored and down-to-earth assistant basketball coach.
The series is based on an original idea by Brad Garrett. Kelley will pen the series with Dean Lorey, with the two also executive producing.
Stamos is best known for his role in Full House and now Netflix’s follow-up series Fuller House.
