Obi-Wan Kenobi series is one of the most exciting projects that Disney+ currently has in development, and it found a way to make it even better. The full cast of this project has been revealed, and it features some of Hollywood’s biggest rising stars and a couple of familiar faces.

In addition to Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen, who are set to return as Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader, the upcoming series will feature two more Star Wars veterans. Joel Edgerton and Bonnie Piesse will reprise the roles of Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru, who took care of little Luke Skywalker after his father turned to the dark side.

The cast of this series will also include Moses Ingram (The Queen’s Gambit), Kumail Nanjiani (The Big Sick), Indira Varma (Game of Thrones), Rupert Friend (Homeland), O’Shea Jackson Jr. (Straight Outta Compton), Sung Kang (Fast & Furious), Simone Kessell (Reckoning) and Benny Safdie (Uncut Gems director).

The Obi-Wan Kenobi series will be set a decade after the events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. The project will start shooting later this month, with Deborah Chow directing all the episodes.
