Disney+ is kicking off 2024 with the release of the new Marvel series Echo, and they just gave us another glimpse of this series. The new promotional clip draws us right into Maya Lopez’s world and it offers an intriguing behind-the-scenes look at this promising series.

According to the streamer’s official synopsis, Echo spotlights Maya Lopez (Alaqua Cox) as she’s pursued by Wilson Fink’s (Vincent D’Onofrio) criminal empire. When the journey brings her home to Oklahoma, she must confront her own family and legacy.

Cox made her debut as Maya Lopez aka Echo in Hawkeye, and she’ll be joined by Chaske Spencer, Tantoo Cardinal, Graham Greene, Cody Lightning, Devery Jacobs, and Zahn McClarnon in this spin-off series. In addition to D’Onofrio as Wilson Fink, Charlie Cox is also expected to return as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, reprising his role from Netflix’s Daredevil.

Disney+ teased the upcoming release of this series by dropping a promotional clip titled “Marvel Studios’ Echo – Time For A Queen”. In addition to offering glimpses of the series, this video also features conversations with Cox, D’Onofrio, director Sydney Freeland, and executive producer Richie Palmer.

All five episodes of Echo will be released on January 9, 2024, on Disney+ and Hulu, making it the first Marvel show to simultaneously premiere on both streaming services.
