Jason Clarke will soon lead the Apple TV+ series The Last Frontier, and he’ll be in pretty good company. Dominic Cooper and Haley Bennett will join him in this promising drama series, created for Apple TV+ by Jon Bokenkamp (The Blacklist) and Richard D’Ovidio (The Call).

According to the streamer’s official logline, The Last Frontier will follow US Marshal Frank Remnick, described as “the lone Marshal in charge of the quiet, rugged barrens of Alaska, whose jurisdiction is turned upside-down when a prison transport plane crashes in the remote wilderness, setting free dozens of violent inmates.”

Bokenkamp, D’Ovidio, and Clarke will executive produce the project alongside Sam Hargrave (Extraction), who’s coming on board to direct the first episode.

Bennett joined The Last Frontier as Sidney, a CIA Agent who is tasked with working with Frank. She got her big break with the role in the psychological thriller Swallow, and will soon star in Eli Roth’s sci-fi action-comedy Borderlands alongside Cate Blanchett and Kevin Hart.

As for Cooper, he’ll play Havlock, a former Navy Seal and fugitive trying to escape the US Marshals and the CIA. Preacher star most recently appeared in British Dramas My Lady Jane for Amazon Prime Video and The Gold for BBC.
