We’re about to get a little more Drew Barrymore in our lives!
CBS has decided that we need a daily dose of the Santa Clarita Diet star to keep the blues at bay, and they have given the green light to her new daytime talk show.
The pilot of the show was shot in August, with the network now ordering a full pick-up.
“Drew is a huge star and a breath of fresh air — her show will energize any station’s lineup,” said the chief operating and financial officer of CBS Global Distribution Group, Steve LoCascio.
Not only will the 44-year-old be performing hosting duties, she will also act as executive producer.
“It is beyond my wildest dreams to have this opportunity for a daily talk show,” the actress said. “I’m truly thrilled and honoured to be creating this show with CBS.”
The syndicated talk show is eyeing a launch in fall 2020.
