Dua Lipa is currently gearing up for the release of her third studio album Radical Optimism, but this isn’t the only project keeping her busy. The Grammy winner will get the chance to show off her comedic chops on Saturday Night Live, after being booked as the next host and musical guest.

Dua Lipa will take the iconic SNL stage on May 4, and she’s following in the footsteps of Bad Bunny as the second host to pull double duty this season. She previously served as a musical guest in 2018 and 2020 alongside hosts Natalie Portman and Kristen Wiig.

Lipa is mostly known as a musician, and she’ll host SNL as a part of the promo for her new album Radical Optimism, but we’ve seen her give acting a shot over the course of the past year.

She made her acting debut in Greta Gerwig’s box office hit Barbie, before taking on a bigger role in the action comedy Argylle, and she’s open to taking on more roles in the future.

“I don’t know about all the time. Music’s my number one love. I feel so grateful for the experiences I’m having and who knows? We’ll see,” Lipa previously told E! News.
