Dwayne Johnson, Issa Rae, and Dany Garcia will executive produce a half-hour series with HBO about the creation of backward wrestling.

The project, currently titled TRE CNT (a.k.a TRE COUNT) is helmed by Mohamad El Masri and will tell the story of Cassius Jones, a young dockworker and struggling pro-wrestler, who uses the life insurance money he inherited from his grandfather for start-up cash and the deed to a shotgun house to start a hip-hop centric backyard wrestling empire in Houston.

Johnson’s involvement in the project makes it more authentic as he previously wrested as The Rock in WWE and he rose to become one of the most famous pro wrestlers of all time, winning many championships and headline major pay-per-views.

Rae, Garcia, and Johnson have previously worked with HBO. Rae currently stars in, executive produces, and co-created Insecure and is an executive producer for A Black Lady Sketch Show. Johnson and Garcia produced the series Ballers and Johnson also starred in it.
