Elisabeth Moss is one of the most accomplished TV actresses of her generation, and she’s getting ready to add another impressive series to her resume. The first trailer for FX’s spy thriller The Veil is here, and it stars Moss as an undercover agent playing a deadly game.

According to FX’s official logline, this spy thriller “explores the surprising and fraught relationship between two women who play a deadly game of truth and lies on the road from Istanbul to Paris and London.”

The operatives at the CIA and French DGSE must put their differences aside and work together to avert potential disaster, which could lead to the loss of thousands of lives.

Elisabeth Moss (The Handmaid’s Tale) leads the series as a veteran MI6 undercover agent Imogen Salter. The supporting cast includes Yumna Marwan, Dali Benssalah, Josh Charles, Haluk Bilginer, Alec Secareanu, Kobna Holdbrook-Smith, and Thibault de Montalembert.

The Veil was created for FX by Steven Knight (Peaky Blinders), who’s executive producing it with Di Novi Pictures’ Denise Di Novi, and Moss and Lindsey McManus under their Love & Squalor Pictures banner. The show consists of six episodes, streaming weekly on Hulu following the two-episode premiere on April 30.
