Emilia Clarke Reveals “Game of Thrones” Memento She Got For Christmas

Emilia Clarke has revealed what Game of Thrones memorabilia she received from her brother for Christmas. And it made her burst into tears.

Last year was a difficult year for all of us Game of Thrones fans. Winter came, went, and left us with a Stark-shaped hole in our chest. The show’s absence was even more challenging for cast members, particularly Emilia Clarke, who played the phenomenal Daenerys Targaryan on the show.

During an appearance on BBC Radio 2’s Breakfast Show with Zoe Ball, Clarke revealed that for Christmas last year, her brother gave her a very special keepsake from the show.

“My amazing brother, who worked on the camera department and worked on the show as well, this Christmas gave me the best Christmas present ever,” Clarke said.

“He had in one of the battle scenes – I think he’d got a mate of a mate of a mate – anyway, he got one of the Targaryen flags, so I opened it this Christmas and just burst into tears.

“I was literally like, ‘That’s going up pride of place, because I keep asking Game Of Thrones, please can I have a wig, a coat? I had eight.”

You can watch seasons 1-8 of Game of Thrones on Amazon Prime now.
