Erika Alexander is fresh off starring in the acclaimed film American Fiction, and she has another promising role lined up. She’ll join the ensemble cast of the Apple TV+ sci-fi series Invasion in its upcoming third season.

Invasion imagines a world where aliens have made their way to Earth from across the universe, putting the survival of the human race at risk. The story unfolds through the eyes of ordinary people across the globe, trying to make sense of the chaos unraveling around them.

The ensemble cast of this series includes Golshifteh Farahani, Shioli Kutsuna, Shamier Anderson, India Brown, Billy Barratt, Azhy Robertson, Tara Moayedi, Enver Gjokaj, and Shane Zaza, and Alexander will join them in a mystery role in Season 3.

Simon Kinberg and David Weil co-created this series for Apple TV+ and serve as its executive producers alongside Audrey Chon, David Witz, Alik Sakharov, Andrew Baldwin, Dan Dietz, and Katie O’Connell Marsh. Season 3 still doesn’t have a release date, but production is underway.

Alexander’s rise to prominence started with her role in the cult sitcom Living Single during the ’90s, and we’ve seen her star in many amazing projects over the years. She most recently starred in the Oscar-winning film American Fiction and played major roles in the TV series Swimming with Sharks, Shining Girls, and Run the World.
