Fans of Euphoria are feeling the, well, euphoria.

The first season of the HBO series is currently halfway through its broadcast, but we will not be saying goodbye to the cast when it comes to an end on August 4th.

The network has decided to renew the show for a second season, meaning we will get further insight into the underground world of teenagers.

The series is based on an Israel show of the same name and stars Zendaya as the lead character who is a former drug addict, fresh out of rehab, that is trying to navigate her new path.

Several graphic depictions of sex, nudity, violence, and drug use have resulted in Euphoria being considered controversial, but HBO is excited to see more.

Euphoria creator Sam Levinson has built an incredible world with an extraordinary cast led by the supremely talented Zendaya,” said Francesca Orsi, executive vice president of HBO Programming. “We are so grateful that he chose HBO as the home for this groundbreaking series. We look forward to following these complex characters as their journeys continue through the challenging world they inhabit.”

Season two of Euphoria is expected in 2020.
