Everything You Need To Know About “Better Call Saul” Season 5

Season 5 of the Breaking Bad spin-off Better Call Saul will be landing on Netflix this year. Here’s everything we know so far.

When Will It Be Released?

Better Call Saul will return to Netflix on February 24. It will air on AMC in the U.S. the day before. The episodes will be released weekly on a Monday.

Who Will Be In It?

The usual cast will be returning for season 5 but the question we all really want to know is whether Aaron Paul will be reprising his role as Jesse Pinkman and whether Brian Cranston will make an appearance as Walter White. This also ties into the question of where in the Breaking Bad timeline the show will finish.

What Will Happen?

The plot of season 5 remains very much a mystery. The season 4 climax saw Bob Odenkirk’s morally ambiguous Jimmy make the full transformation into the infamous Saul Goodman. Fans are keen to know how he winds up involved with Giancarlo Esposito’s Gus Fring and what happens to his love interest, Kim (Rhea Seehorn).

We can also assume that Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks) will complete his work on building Gus’ meth lab. Hopefully, we will also find out a little about Gus’ plans for Walter White. But there’s no way of knowing what Vince Gilligan will keep secret and what he will reveal.

Is There A Trailer?

There have been a few teaser trailers over the past few months. The most recent of which landed on January 3. It doesn’t tell us much, but our interest is definitely piqued. You can watch it below.
