A new Rick and Morty clip has emerged, but fans seem to be more frustrated than excited by it.
It’s been over a year now since we received season three of the animated sci-fi hit show. It was October 2017 when the season finale aired, including an after-credit scene in which Mr Poopybutthole promised up is it would be a “really, really long time” until we get season four.
Now, Adult Swim has teased fans with a new clip. The 15-second teaser shows a weird, new dimension with alternative, dystopian animation. The clip has no speech other than an exchange of “Rick” and “Morty.”
Given the cult following the show has, it’s perhaps unsurprising that fans were more frustrated by this meaningless clip.
One fan tweeted: “They’ve been putting out teasers like this for about a year now. Really don’t want to be one of those people but for god sakes give us a new season.”
Another wrote: “Please where is the announcement for season 4 #RickAndMorty we’re all dying here.”
So basically Adult Swim, if you don’t have anything season four-related to say, don’t say anything at all.
