Fearne Cotton is quitting Celebrity Juice after 10 years.
After a decade of relentless banter and mockery, Fearne Cotton is finally calling it a day and leaving the panel on Celebrity Juice. She has captained Holly Willhoughby’s rival team since the very first episode of the show back in 2008.
Since the show began, she has been subject to Keith Lemon’s scathing mockery and cheeky innuendos and jokes at her and Holly’s expense. Now, it looks like he will have to find a new team captain to make cringe as she has confirmed she will be leaving for good.
“After ten years of complete fun, I have decided to leave Celebrity Juice,” she confirmed. “It has been a joy to be part of this magnificent show, and I wish the team the very best in future series.”
Leaving the show will free Fearne up to do some more serious, less debaucherous shows. She is currently hosting a podcast about mindfulness called Happy Place, and Keith Lemon’s wild and rude antics does not really fit in with this image!
Celebrity Juice has not yet announced who the replacement captain will be, but whoever it is will certainly have large shoes to fill.
