After a lot of anticipation, the second season of Ryan Murphy’s hit anthology series Feud is finally happening! The first trailer for Feud: Capote Vs. The Swans is here and it offers a glimpse of high-society women who were once close friends of the famed writer Truman Capote.

According to its official synopsis, Feud: Capote Vs. The Swans tells the story of acclaimed writer Truman Capote, once a confidante to society’s most elite women, whom he nicknamed “the swans”, before his act of betrayal effectively destroyed those relationships, banished him from high society, and sent him into a spiral of self-destruction.

The new teaser offers a look at Capote’s “swans”, “Babe” Paley (Naomi Watts), Slim Keith (Diane Lane), C.Z. Guest (Chloë Sevigny), Lee Radziwill (Calista Flockhart), Ann Woodward (Demi Moore), and Joanne Carson (Molly Ringwald).

Tom Hollander, who’ll play Capote, doesn’t appear in the teaser, which mostly consists of cutting remarks of “the swans”, tearing each other down. Treat Williams, Joe Mantello, Russell Tovey, and Jessica Lange will also star in the show.

Feud: Capote Vs. The Swans will premiere on FX on January 31, 2024. The two-episode premiere will be followed by six more episodes airing weekly on FX before streaming on Hulu the next day.
