From The Mandalorian to Andor, Disney+ has given us many acclaimed shows set in the Star Wars universe, and they’re coming back for more. The first trailer for The Acolyte is finally here, and it will transport you back to the final days of the High Republic.

The Acolyte is set at the end of the High Republic, 100 years before the events of Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, and here’s what it has in store, according to Disney’s official logline:

“An investigation into a shocking crime spree pits a respected Jedi Master (Lee Jung-jae) against a dangerous warrior from his past (Amandla Stenberg). As more clues emerge, they travel down a dark path where sinister forces reveal all is not what it seems…”

In addition to Lee Jung-jae (Squid Game) and Amandla Stenberg (The Eddy), The Acolyte also stars Manny Jacinto (The Good Place), Dafne Keen (His Dark Materials), Charlie Barnett (Russian Doll), Jodie Turner-Smith (Anne Boleyn), Rebecca Henderson (Single Drunk Female), Carrie-Anne Moss (Jessica Jones), and Dean-Charles Chapman (Game of Thrones).

The Acolyte hails from Leslye Headland (Russian Doll), who serves as its creator and one of the writers, directors, and executive producers. It will feature a total of eight episodes, and the first two will debut on Disney+ on June 4.
