The Boys has been doing a great job putting a twist on the superhero genre for quite some time, and it’s showing no signs of stopping. The third season of this critically acclaimed show is just around the corner and the first trailer promises one wild, gory ride.

From teasing the appearances of Soldier Boy and Crimson Countess to showing Billy Butcher getting superpowers, the new teaser features several pretty epic moments. The two-minute clip plays out like a dance number, choreographed to the beat of Imagine Dragon’s “Bones”.

Jensen Ackles and Laurie Holden joined the new season as Soldier Boy and Crimson Countess, respectively, while the rest of the new cast also includes Katia Winter, Kristin Booth, and Jack Doolan. Original cast members, including Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Karen Fukuhara, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Chace Crawford, and Jessie T. Usher, are returning to their roles from the first two seasons.

The Boys premiered on Amazon Prime in 2019 and it centers on a group of vigilantes trying to take down corrupt celebrity superheroes, doing terrible things once cameras stop rolling. The third season will feature a total of eight episodes, set to be released weekly following the season premiere on June 3rd.
