“Friends from College” has been Cancelled

Cobie Smulders and Keegan-Michael Key in "Friends from College"

Netflix seems to be on a marathon of the cancelling kind.

On Monday it was announced that two fan favorites, Jessica Jones and The Punisher, would be wrapping up after their forthcoming and current respective seasons, bringing to an end Marvel’s relationship with Netflix.

Netflix has now cancelled another relationship — Friends from College.

The series stars Cobie Smulders, Keegan-Michael Key, and Fred Savage as part of a group of Harvard alumni who are now navigating life in their 40s.

The streaming service has confirmed that the comedy will be ending after its second season.

“We’re grateful to creators Nick Stoller and Francesca Delbanco for creating a wise, funny and supremely relatable show,” the network said. “We also want to thank the hard-working crew, and we raise a glass to the amazingly talented cast including Keegan-Michael Key, Fred Savage, Cobie Smulders, Nat Faxon, Annie Parisse, Jae Suh Park, and Billy Eichner.”

Stiller confirmed the news via Twitter, thanking all who watched.

Maybe we’ll have a reunion in 10 years’ time.
