Friends will be there for us when the rain starts to fall. They just won’t be on Netflix.

Netflix has confirmed that Ross, Rachel, Phoebe, Monica, Chandler, and Joey will be leaving the streaming service in favor of another (kind of like that time the guys and the girls swapped apartments).

All 236 episodes of the ‘90s series are currently available on Netflix, but will move to the new WarnerMedia streaming service called HBO Max as of next year.

“We’re sorry to see Friends go to Warner’s streaming service at the beginning of 2020 (in the US),” Netflix tweeted after WarnerMedia’s announcement. “Thanks for the memories, gang.”

We know what you’re thinking, but this is not the one where Netflix pays another $100 million to keep the NBC series on its platform.

Instead, Warner has reportedly paid $425 million to broadcast Friends on its own streaming service for the next 5 years.

So, basically, it’s not a break…
