Feud: Capote Vs. The Swans is finally hitting the shelves later this month, and FX is doing a great job teasing it. The first full trailer for this highly-anticipated show is finally here, and it captures Truman Capote’s fallout with a group of NYC high society women, known as “the swans”.
The next chapter of Ryan Murphy’s acclaimed anthology series will see the famed author Truman Capote form a strong bond with New York society’s most elite women, whom he nicknamed “the swans”, only to blow it all up with an act of betrayal which would lead to his ultimate demise.
Tom Hollander will lead the series in the role of Truman Capote, and he’ll be joined by Naomi Watts (“Babe” Paley), Diane Lane (Slim Keith), Chloë Sevigny (C.Z. Guest), Calista Flockhart (Lee Radziwill), Demi Moore (Ann Woodward), and Molly Ringwald (Joanne Carson) as “the swans”. Treat Williams, Joe Mantello, Russell Tovey, and Jessica Lange also star in supporting roles.
Capote Vs. The Swans marks the second chapter of Murphy’s Feud anthology series and hails from writer Jon Robin Baitz. Gus Van Sant, Max Winkler, and Jennifer Lynch directed the eight-episode series, which will premiere its first two episodes on FX on January 31.
