Good People is adding more good people.
The comedy from Lee Daniels and Whitney Cummings will focus on three generations of women working in a college ombudsman’s office.
The first star to sign on to the show was Lisa Kudrow, who will play the ombudsman in question, Lynn Steele. She will now be joined by Greg Kinnear.
The House of Cards actor’s character has been described as a charming, charismatic philosophy professor at Sacramento University named Dr. Paul Keating. Despite his charm, Keating’s unconventional ways causes problems for Kudrow’s Steele and Hazel Miller, played by Cummings.
Daniels and Cummings wrote the pilot together, with the Empire creator set to direct. The pair are also executive producers on the project, alongside the Friends alum.
Good People will head to pilot, and if picked up, will be shown on Amazon.
