The Apple TV+ drama Firebug recently rounded up its main cast, and several supporting players have just joined the ensemble. Rafe Spall, Greg Kinnear, Ntare Mwine, and Hannah Emily Anderson will star opposite Taron Egerton in this limited series.

Created, written, and executive produced by Dennis Lehane, Firebug will see a troubled detective and an enigmatic arson investigator pursue the trails of two serial arsonists, and it’s loosely based on a true story.

This limited series will mark a reunion for Lehane and Taron Egerton, following the success of a true crime series Black Bird. The Emmy-nominated actor will also serve as one of the executive producers, in addition to leading Firebug alongside Jurnee Smollett and John Leguizamo.

They’ve just been joined by several more actors, including Greg Kinnear, who also starred in Black Bird. Rafe Spall, who’s currently leading the Apple TV+ comedy Trying, joined this limited series in a mystery role, as well.

Ntare Mwine is also among four new actors added to the cast, and his most recent TV credits include roles in Bosch, The Chi, The Lincoln Lawyer, and Dead Ringers. Hannah Emily Anderson, best known for her role in USA Network’s The Purge series, will also be a part of the Firebug cast.
