The Way Home has been going strong on Hallmark Channel for two amazing seasons, and it will soon come back for another chapter. The time-traveling family saga has been renewed for its third season ahead of the upcoming Season 2 finale.

The Way Home chronicles the journey of three generations of strong, willful, and independent Landry women. Kat Landry (Chyler Leigh) finds herself at a crossroads in her life 20 years after leaving her hometown, after receiving an unexpected letter from her estranged mother Del (Andie MacDowell), urging her to return with her teen daughter Alice (Sadie Laflamme-Snow).

After coming back home, Alice and Kat unwittingly discover the ability to travel between the past and present, which prompts the Landry women to find their way back to each other, while navigating their journeys across time.

Lisa Hamilton Daly, EVP of programming at Hallmark Media, confirmed the show’s renewal and promised another amazing adventure in Season 3.

“Our cast, writers, and entire crew have used their impressive talents to create a story that is just as compelling and addictive as the first season. We’re grateful to the fans who are so passionate about the series and can’t wait for them to see what and when is ahead for Season 3,” said Hamilton Daly in a statement.
