It’s been over two and a half decades but Harrison Ford is heading back to television.
Multiple outlet report that the Star Wars, Indiana Jones and Blade Runner star is set to star in a scripted adaptation of The Staircase from Annapurna TV.
The true-crime documentary follows the trial of novelist Michael Peterson, who was accused of murdering his wife. The retelling of the 2004 true-crime docuseries is directed by Jean-Xavier de Lestrade. Antonio Campos (The Sinner) will write and executive produce the adaptation with Ford who will also serve as executive producer.
Ford’s last TV appearance was back in 1993 in The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles. His other TV credits include The Virginian, Mod Squad and Gunsmoke.
