Nostalgic reboots are slowly becoming a staple of HBO Max’s programming, and they just announced the most exciting one yet. The Sex and the City revival is coming to this streaming service, with three of the original stars returning to their respective roles.

According to the official logline, this series will follow Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker), Charlotte York (Kristin Davis), and Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon) as they navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s. The revival will proceed without Kim Cattrall, who played Samantha Jones in the original series.

This exciting revival will be titled And Just Like That… and it will consist of a total of 10 half-hour episodes. In addition to playing the lead roles, Parker, Davis, and Nixon will also executive produce the series alongside Michael Patrick King.

This series won’t be the first continuation of the Sex and the City story. The hit HBO series previously spawned two sequel movies, and the prequel series The Carrie Diaries starring AnnaSophia Robb as the young Carrie Bradshaw.
