It was recently announced that the characters of the Buffyverse would be reuniting in the form of a comic book mini-series. Here’s everything we know about the series so far.
What Will It Be Called?
The Buffy/Angel crossover will be titled Hellmouth. The mini-series is brought to us by Boom! Studios, who have been running the best-selling Buffy and Angel comics since the shows ended.
Who Will Be In It?
By the looks of it, all our favorite characters will be returning. The artwork in the Boom! comics is based on the cast from the Joss Whedon series. This means this comic Buffy will take on the appearance of Sarah Michelle Gellar. Although Angel will be returning, it is uncertain whether he will be fighting for the side of good or will return as the infamous Angelus…
What Will It Be About?
The show will see the Scoobygang return to fight evil on the Hellmouth. The gang have to band together once more to save the world from Hell on Earth. This time, however, Xander Harris is a vampire.
When Will It Land?
The five-part mini-series Hellmouth will land October 9th.
