If we had a dollar for every time we heard a rumor that a Friends reunion “might be in the works,” we would probably be on our own private beach somewhere very hot and very expensive. This time, although we are approaching the news with caution, it seems that a Friends reunion really could be on the way.
This year, Friends fans have been celebrating the 25th anniversary of the legendary sit-com. The Hollywood Reporter claims that talks are underway for a reunion special starring Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer. Could this be the reunion we have all been desperately waiting for?
Conversations on the reunion are far from over and the challenge of organizing everyone’s schedules lies ahead. Still, there is hope that the six cast members could be in the same room, either reprising their roles or talking about their favorite Friends moments.
HBO Max has declined to comment but the moment they do, we will pause celebration to share the news.
