Hulu Announces “The Handmaid’s Tale” Premiere Date

Elisabeth Moss in "The Handmaid's Tale"

Not even the Emmys could keep away the Eye.

It has already been 7 months since we last saw Offred and the rest of her concubine conquests in The Handmaid’s Tale.

Season two ended with Elizabeth Moss’s character having to make a terribly difficult decision, and between us, we’re not sure she made the right one…

But, June is now going to have to eat her blessed fruit as she continues to attempt to overturn Gilead and its dystopian leaders.

The season 3 trailer included June urging America to wake up and we now know when those alarms will be going off.

The 5th of June (good month!) is when we’ll be heading back to the world created by Margaret Atwood, with 3 whole episodes being released on that date. There will be 13 episodes in all.

Unfortunately, the June release date means that the Hulu series won’t be able to compete in this year’s Emmys, but some things are just more important.

Blessed be the fight.
