Hulu Sets a Date For “Little Fires Everywhere”

Little Fires Everywhere will be premiering Wednesday, March 18.

Hulu announced the premiere of the limited series in a teaser trailer/date announcement. Reese Witherspoon who plays Elena Richardson said, “We all have parts that scare us,” in the 15-second clip. She added, “we can’t not look at who we are.”

The series is based on the book by Celeste Ng and it’s written and developed by Casual‘s Liz Tigelaar. According to Deadline, Little Fires Everywhere is about the “intertwined fates of the picture-perfect Richardson family and an enigmatic mother and daughter who upend their lives. The story explores the weight of secrets, the nature of art and identity, the ferocious pull of motherhood – and the danger in believing that following the rules can avert disaster.”

In addition to Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington, also starring are Joshua Jackson, Rosemarie DeWitt, Jade Pettyjohn, Jordan Elsass, Gavin Lewis, Megan Stott, Lexi Underwood, and Huang Lu. Producing the series is Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine, Washington’s Simpson Street, and ABC Signature Studios.
