Season three of sci-fi hit-series Humans finally has a premiere date. Deadline reports that U.K. viewers will be able to watch the series on British Channel 4 in May, while U.S. audience US will have to wait until June 5th when Humans will premiere on AMC. Although there aren’t plenty of information on the story of the third season, we did get a first look at the characters and cast.

Good news for the fans is that the entire main cast is set to return including Colin Morgan (Leo), Gemma Chan (Mia), Emily Berrington (Niska), Ivanno Jeremiah (Max) and Ruth Bradley (Karen). Sam Palladio’s character Ed will also be back with what may be an exciting role since he left fans in suspense after the last episode.

“We left it at a very dramatic point for Ed and there might be more down the line. But I’ve absolutely loved the storyline and where they took it, and they left it on a bit of a cliffhanger for me, so it gives me the potential for some more story”, – said Palladio to Digital Spy after season two ended.

We will be introduced to new characters in season three as well, including charming scientist Neil Sommer who works on a government commission and will be played by Mark Bonnar (Catastrophe).

Unfortunately, the trailer is not yet available as it is normally released few weeks before episode one premiers. Until then you can check out the couple of photos that were released alongside the announcement about premiere date.
