Sam Levinson is currently busy writing the third season of Euphoria, and its star Jacob Elordi knows what he wants to happen once he returns as Nate Jacobs. He recently discussed the highly-anticipated new season of the hit teen drama and said it should kick off with a time jump.

Elordi, who received a BAFTA nomination for his performance in Saltburn and hosted Saturday Night Live this week, also found time to sit down with Jimmy Fallon for an interview. Season 3 of Euphoria came up during their conversation, and he shared some interesting thoughts about the show’s next chapter.

“I’m assuming that we’ll have to go forward, otherwise it’s going to seem like a weird bit… I hope it’s soon, or they’re going to have to Benjamin Button me or something. I’m going to have a bad back walking down the hallway, you know?” he told Fallon.

Elordi’s statement is an obvious dig at the fact that most of Euphoria’s cast aged out of their roles since this series premiered five years ago. In addition to Elordi, its star-studded cast also includes Zendaya, Maude Apatow, Alexa Demie, Hunter Schafer, and Sydney Sweeney, who are all expected to return for Season 3.
