Fox is rounding out the cast of Murder in a Small Town, and they’re doing a pretty great job so far. James Cromwell and Stana Katic are the latest guest stars to join the ever-expanding cast of this psychological crime drama series.

Murder in a Small Town will center on Karl Alberg (Rossif Sutherland), a detective who learns he bit off more than he can chew after moving to a quiet coastal town. He was searching for a peaceful paradise, only to learn his new home has its fair share of secrets.

Sutherland will lead the series alongside Kristin Kreuk as a local librarian and Karl’s romantic interest Cassandra. James Cromwell (Succession) and Stana Katic (Castle) are the latest stars to join the leading duo, alongside Mya Lowe (My Life with the Walter Boys), Savonna Spracklin (Departure), Aaron Douglas (Battlestar Galactica), and Fritzy-Klevans Destine (The Boys).

Cromwell will portray George Wilcox, a retired history teacher who developed a friendship with Cassandra during many visits to the local library. Katic will join him as Zoe, a woman with a gorgeous home outside town, whose cool demeanor hides her explosive temper.

They’ll also be joined by Lowe as criminology grad Corporal Edwina Yen, Spracklin as a receptionist Isabella Harbud, Douglas as Alberg’s second in command, Sergeant Sid Sokolowski, and Destine as charming cop Constable Andy Kendrick.
