This Is Us creator Dan Fogelman is plotting his next series with Hulu, and several stars have just joined its leading man Sterling K. Brown. James Marsden, Julianne Nicholson, and Sarah Shahi boarded this untitled high-stakes thriller.

The recent Oscar nominee Brown previously starred in Fogelman’s hit series This Is Us, for which he won an Emmy and Golden Globe. They’re gearing up for another collaboration, with Brown set to play the head of security for a former president in Fogelman’s upcoming Hulu series.

Marsden will join him in the role of a president, Nicholson will play a political power broker, while Shahi is set to star as a therapist to powerful people with secrets of her own.

Marsden is fresh off receiving Emmy and Golden Globe nods for playing the fictionalized version of himself in Jury Duty. His notable TV credits also include Westworld, Dead to Me, and a recent role in Party Down.

Nicholson is the Emmy-winning star of Mare of Easttown, and she recently reunited with HBO for The Outsider and Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty. As for Sarah Shahi, The L World actress recently led Netflix’s drama S-x/Life, which was canceled last year after two seasons.
