The first two seasons of The White Lotus wouldn’t be the same without Jennifer Coolidge, but she won’t be back for the show’s next chapter. The Emmy-winning actress said she’s “jealous” of the Season 3 cast, adding she’s “very sad” not to be a part of it.

Coolidge discussed the show’s upcoming season in an interview with Today and revealed how she really feels about not returning for the next chapter.

“I’m jealous of everyone that’s going. I just want to stress I’m not a good sport about it, but there’s nothing I can do. When they kill you, you have to accept it… But am I sad? I just want to say in all honesty, I’m very sad I’m not in it,” said Coolidge.

Despite not being a part of the show anymore, Coolidge has high expectations for Season 3. She said there’s “never a dull moment” in Mike White’s scripts and everything he writes is riveting, adding that Thailand feels like a great place for the show’s next season.

Despite Coolidge’s absence, Season 3 will feature one familiar face – Natasha Rothwell as Belidna from Season 1. The ensemble cast will also include Leslie Bibb, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Carrie Coon, Parker Posey, Tayme Thapthimthong, Walton Goggins, Aimee Lou Wood, Patrick Schwarzenegger, and recently cast Julian Kostoov and Scott Glenn.
