This Is Us is growing its family.
It has been announced that Jennifer Morrison from Once Upon a Time will be joining the cast of the series which has won numerous Emmy awards.
Morrison confirmed the news, with the show’s official Twitter account welcoming her to the family.
In May, the series was renewed for three more seasons (with it believed that the sixth will be the last). Morrison is set to come on board for the forthcoming fourth season which begins in September.
The actress’s role is being kept under wraps, other than to say that it will be recurring and “substantial.”
With This Is Us’s format of depicting different time periods in the life of the Pearson family, Morrison could be slotted in just about anywhere. Though it is assumed, based on the season 3 finale, that she will be playing the mother of Kevin’s future son.
