It’s tough to name a show that created more commotion in recent years than The Bear, and its upcoming third season is going to be fire. Its leading man Jeremy Allen White recently dropped some hints about the show’s next chapter and revealed that The Bear will head back to the kitchen in Season 3.

Whit recently set down with Variety to discuss his new movie The Iron Claw, but The Bear also came up during the interview. The Golden Globe-winning actor said that the show will be “going to go back to that functioning kitchen atmosphere” in Season 3, and dropped some more hints about what’s in store.

“I think they’ve written a couple of scripts. I have not read any. I do know in January I’m going to spend a fair amount of time getting together with some chefs. There’ll be a menu set, I believe, that’s going to be for the restaurant in the third season,” said White.

The Bear centers on a young chef from the fine dining world, who moves back to Chicago to run a small family sandwich shop. The first season showed him trying to keep this business afloat while working with a chaotic kitchen crew, while the second saw them closing The Beef and trying to build a successful restaurant on its premises.
