Tessa Thompson has been cast as the lead in Netflix’s His & Hers, and she’ll be joined by several amazing actors. Jon Bernthal and Pablo Schreiber landed key roles in this limited series, based on Alice Feeney’s novel of the same name.
His & Hers will take us to the sweltering heat of Atlanta, where a reclusive news anchor Anna is slowly fading away from her friends and career until a murder in Dahlonega snaps her back to life. She decides to return to the sleepy town where she grew up and search for answers, but her investigation sparks suspicions.
Bernthal joined the cast as Jack Harper, described as a Sheriff’s Office detective who’s “strangely suspicious of her involvement, chasing her into the crosshairs of his own investigation.” He’s fresh off winning his first Emmy Award for his guest appearance in The Bear, and will next be seen in Daredevil: Born Again.
As for Pablo Schreiber, he’ll play Richard, one of the best cameramen at WSK TV News, who’s chosen by Anna to be her cameraman in Dahlonega. He recently starred in the Paramount+ series Halo, and his list of notable TV credits also includes Orange Is the New Black, American Gods, and Defending Jacob.
