*Breaking Bad and El Camino spoilers ahead*
Less than a month ahead of its release, Jonathan Banks has dropped a spoiler for the Breaking Bad movie, El Camino.
Banksplayed Mike Ehrmantraut in the Breaking Bad series and then reprised his role in the spin-off series, Better Call Saul. Last night at the Emmy Awards, Banks revealed that he will be reprising the role once more in El Camino.
The actor was approached by ET Canada to find out if his character would be making an appearance.
“They’ll hit me in the head for saying this,” Banks joked. “But yes, why not? I mean, none of those guys hit very hard anyway.”
Banks’ character was killed off by Heisenberg in the final season of the show. This means that his role in El Camino will have to be in the form of a flashback. If Mike is returning, it might be the case that some of the other actors from the franchise will be making appearances. Could Bryan Cranston be one of them?
We will find out October 11 via Netflix.
