We’ve seen some of our favorite stars get their own travel shows in recent years, and Dame Judi Dench is the next one in line. The Oscar-winning actress will join forces with TV host Jay Blades for the Channel 4 travel documentary Judi & Jay: The Odd Couple.

The Odd Couple will see the legendary actress Judi Dench and The Repair Shop host Jay Blades embarking on “a whistle-stop tour down memory lane” and learning about each other’s backgrounds and upbringings on their journey from London to Stratford-upon-Avon.

They’ll get to meet people who have shaped their vastly different lives and introduce each other to special places that have influenced who they are, from Hackney’s Ridley Road Market to The Old Vic theater.

The friendship between Dench and Blades blossomed after a chance encounter three years ago, and she’s looking forward to embarking on an epic journey together in this Channel 4 one-episode travelogue.

“Sometimes if you’re very lucky you get to meet someone and find you’re totally on the same wavelength. What fun I had filming this program with Jay, sharing memories of our past, both so different, finding we have the same sense of humor. I could have gone on filming for days,” said Dench in a statement.
