Dan Stevens was cast as the lead in the third season of The Terror, and he’ll be joined by some pretty impressive supporting players. The recent Emmy winner Judith Light is among the latest additions to the cast, along with Marin Ireland and Stephen Root.
The Terror: Devil in Silver will be based on Victor LaValle’s novel, and it will center on a working-class moving man Pepper, who must come face to face with dark forces after being wrongfully committed to New Hyde Psychiatric Hospital.
“As Pepper navigates a hellscape where nothing is as it seems, he finds that the only path to freedom is to face down the entity which thrives on the suffering within New Hyde’s walls – but doing so may prove that the worst demons of all live inside him,” reads the show’s official logline.
Judith Light, who won an Emmy for her guest role in Poker Face earlier this year, is one of the latest additions to the cast, along with CCH Pounder (NCIS: New Orleans), Stephen Root (Barry), and Marin Ireland (The Umbrella Academy).
Season 3 of The Terror will also star Chinaza Uche, Hampton Fluker, Aasif Mandvi, John Benjamin Hickey, Hayward Leach, Michael Aronov, Marin Ireland, and Philip Ettinger in supporting roles.
