The Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco has shared an exciting new detail about the upcoming season of Harley Quinn: The Animated Series.

Cuoco is taking on the role of the eponymous anti-hero in the DC series. The series follows Harley Quinn on her own adventures without Joker. Showrunners have previously teased that the infamous Poison Ivy will be in the show and that her friendship with Harley Quinn’s may move in a romantic direction.

In the comic series, Harley and Poison fall in love and so fans have been excited by the possibility of an animated series that explores this character arch. When Conan asked Cuoco about this, she seemed to confirm that the speculation is true.

“Let me put it this way: Harley’s gonna need some calamine lotion,” she quipped. “That was a funny joke! I just thought of that off the top of my head.”

Of course, calamine lotion is the treatment used for a poison ivy sting…

You can watch seasons 1 and 2 of Harley Quinn: The Animated Series on the DC Universe app.
