Netflix’s dark comedy series Sirens announced its leading trio earlier this week, and it’s slowly rounding out its supporting cast. Kevin Bacon and Glenn Howerton will star opposite Julianne Moore in the new series from Maid creator Molly Smith Metzler.
Sirens will star Meghann Fahy as Devon, who becomes puzzled by her sister Simone’s (Milly Alcock) unconventional relationship with her new boss Michaela Kell (Julianne Moore), an enigmatic socialite who leads a cult-ish life of luxury. She decides to intervene, only to find out that Michaela is the most formidable opponent that she’d ever encountered.
Bacon joined the cast as Peter Kell, who comes from an old money family and is the highest-status person in every room he enters. As for Howerton, his character Ethan Corbin II has been described as a dear friend of the Kells and a lifelong bachelor who’s rapidly burning through his trust fund.
Hollywood veteran Kevin Bacon is having a pretty busy summer – he played supporting roles in the action-comedy Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F and slasher film MaXXXine, and will next be seen in Prime Video’s series The Bondsman. As for Glenn Howerton, he continues to star in the long-running sitcom It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, which he developed alongside Rob McElhenney.
