“Killing Eve:” The Next Victim Might Be…

Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer in "Killing Eve."

Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s next big role could be… murder victim?

The Fleabag star is the creator of the award-winning BBC drama Killing Eve and is reportedly considering inserting herself into the action.

But instead of being one of the heroines, Waller-Bridge would like to be one of Villanelle’s victims.

“I was like, I am going to write myself a part so that I can be murdered by Jodie [Comer],” she told The Mirror.

The multiple Emmy Award winner had at one stage thought about playing one of the lead parts, of the charismatic assassin or MI6 agent Eve Polastri but ultimately decided to cast Comer and Sandra Oh in the roles — both of whom have gone on to win awards.

“I just had a really strong instinct that there should be this age gap because I just felt like it was something I hadn’t seen,” she said. “I’m not a 25-year-old Jodie Comer – I mean, let’s be frank. And I don’t know if I could have scaled a wall quite like she could have done, and I’m not in my early 40s either.”

Killing Eve returns for season 3 next year.
