Netflix is bringing many amazing new shows our way this fall, including the quirky rom-com Nobody Wants This. The first trailer for this series is here, and it sees Kristen Bell and Adam Brody trying to forge an unconventional romance despite their wildly different lives and meddling families.
Nobody Wants This stars Kristen Bell as an agnostic podcast host Joanne and Adam Brody as an unconventional rabbi Noah, who form an unlikely connection while attending the same party.
“When they walk out – together – the unlikely pair, Joanne and Noah, can tell there is something between them. But also potentially between them, with their differing outlooks on life, all of the modern obstacles to love, and their sometimes well-meaning, sometimes sabotaging families,” reads the show’s official logline.
In addition to the leading duo, this series will also star Justine Lupe, Timothy Simons, Stephanie Faracy, Tovah Feldshuh, Paul Ben-Victor, Michael Hitchcock, Jackie Tohn, Sherry Cola, Shiloh Bearman, and Emily Arlook.
Nobody Wants This is inspired by the real life of its creator Erin Foster, and she told Tudum it’s “based on all the ways that finding the right person can be so hard.” It will arrive on Netflix on September 26 with all ten episodes.
