The fourth season of Only Murders in the Building recently kicked off production, and it’s shaping up to be the most star-studded one yet. The A-list supporting cast of this series is getting larger by the day, and the Emmy-nominated actor Kumail Nanjiani is the latest star to jump on board.

Only Murders in the Building will briefly head to Los Angeles before returning to New York in Season 4, which will see Charles (Steve Martin), Oliver (Martin Short), and Mabel (Selena Gomez) trying to solve the mysterious murder of Charles’ long-time stunt double Sazz Pataki (Jane Lynch).

The identity of Nanjiani’s character remains a mystery, but we know that he’ll be integral to this season’s investigation. He’ll be in pretty good company on the set of Hulu’s hit murder mystery comedy since the supporting cast also includes newcomers Eugene Levy (Schitt’s Creek), Eva Longoria (Desperate Housewives), and Molly Shannon (The White Lotus). Meryl Streep will also be back, returning as Loretta Durkin from Season 3.

Nanjiani has come a long way since getting his big break with the role in the HBO comedy Silicon Valley. He mostly turned to movie roles in such projects as The Big Sick, Eternals, and The Lovebirds before leading the Hulu mini-series Welcome to Chippendales, which earned him a Primetime Emmy nomination.
