Curb Your Enthusiasm will come to an end this winter after twelve glorious seasons, and HBO finally gave us a taste of things to come. Larry David is back and gearing up to say goodbye in the new trailer for the show’s upcoming twelfth and final season.

The hilarious new trailer sees Larry going back to his own ways and making a spectacle of himself everywhere he goes. As the trailer progresses, we watch him have cringe-worthy conversations with everyone from his family members to random strangers.

The show’s final season will “prove how seemingly trivial details of one’s day-to-day life can precipitate a catastrophic chain of events”, and it will be released under the cheeky logline – “Don’t be mad he’s leaving, be mad he stayed so long.”

In addition to David in the lead role, Season 12 will also feature the likes of Jeff Garlin, Susie Essman, Cheryl Hines, J.B. Smoove, Richard Lewis, Ted Danson, Vince Vaughn, Tracey Ullman, plus guest appearances from Dan Levy and Sean Hayes.

David wraps up the trailer with words, “I really did the best under the circumstances, as a person who hates people yet has to be amongst them,” teasing the show’s grand finale, which will launch on HBO on February 4.
