Larry David has given us one of HBO’s longest-running shows of the 21st century with Curb Your Enthusiasm, but its final season is finally in sight. The acclaimed comedy is officially ending its run with the upcoming Season 12, set to premiere on HBO next year.

David announced the end of Curb Your Enthusiasm with a hilarious statement on social media and made it clear he’s excited to shed the “Larry David” persona he created for this show and become the person he’s meant to be—the thoughtful, kind, caring, considerate human being he was until he got derailed by portraying this malignant character.

Curb Your Enthusiasm represents a fictional account of Larry David’s real life, and it started its life as a one-hour special in 1999. HBO was so happy with this project that they decided to green-light the whole series centered around the fictionalized version of the Seinfeld co-creator, which aired in 2000 and went on to become one of their most acclaimed shows.

Curb Your Enthusiasm will return for its highly-anticipated Season 12 on February 4, 2024. The final season will feature ten episodes airing weekly on HBO, and it will conclude with the series finale on April 7, 2024.
