Netflix told us that Orange is the New Black, but our beloved dramedy set in Lichfield Penitentiary is now coming to an end.
The seventh and final season of the show — which is the most-watched original on the streaming service — is set to premiere this month.
Taylor Schilling, Uzo Aduba, Danielle Brooks, Kate Mulgrew, Laura Prepon, Laverne Cox, Dascha Polanco, Taryn Manning, and Yael Stone are all expected to return for the final sentence which will see Piper trying to adjust to life back in the real world, while her fellow inmates continue theirs on the inside.
“What do we do when we reach the place where we don’t know what to do?” says the voiceover in the final season’s trailer. “Giving up is not the answer. We have to find our own answers.”
And we’ll find them together on July 26th.
