Leo Woodall is fresh off starring in Netflix’s hit romance drama One Day, and he’s already eying his next big TV role. Woodall will lead the Apple TV+ series Prime Target alongside Quintessa Swindell, being produced by the acclaimed director Ridley Scott.
Prime Target hails from Steve Thompson (Sherlock), and it centers on the young mathematical genius Edward Brooks (Woodall). He’s on the verge of coming up with a unique mathematical pattern that would give him access to every computer in the world before realizing there’s someone trying to stop him.
He finds an unlikely ally in Taylah Sanders (Swindell), an NSA agent tasked to watch and report on mathematicians’ risky behaviors, after starting to piece together a conspiracy only they can solve.
Woodall and Swindell won’t be lonely in this pursuit, since the show’s impressive supporting cast includes Stephen Rea (The Crying Game), David Morrissey (Sherwood), Martha Plimpton (The Regime), Sidse Babbett Knudsen (Borgen), Jason Flemyng (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button), Harry Lloyd (Game of Thrones).
Woodall got his big break while starring in the third season of the hit anthology series The White Lotus, and he most recently led Netflix’s One Day alongside Ambika Mod. Swindell is best known as the star of Black Adam, while her TV credits include roles in Trinkets and In Treatment.
