The Saturday Night Live star is heading to Netflix.
Leslie Jones announced that she will headline an hour-long stand-up comedy special.
“I am doing a Netflix special,” Jones excitedly announced Thursday on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! “So ya’ll finally get to see what I really do.”
She also reminded fans that she’s a stand-up comedy at her core. “I mean, it’s great to be an actress but I’m actually a stand-up, hardcore. That’s what pay the bills.”
Jones joins an ever-growing roster of Netflix comedy specials including Best Time of Our Lives with Adam Devine, Live: Your Welcome with Miranda Sings, Son of Patricia with Trevor Noah, Homecoming King with Hasan Minhaj, Growing with Amy Schumer, Make Happy with Bo Burnham and Noble Ape with Jim Gaffigan.
Jesse Collins Entertainment is producing the special, which is set to launch globally on Netflix in 2020.
